Holy Spirit, give me eyes to see.
Give me ears to hear.
Hands to hold others.
Holy Spirit, wrap me in Your love.
Remind me every day Whose I am.
Help me remain.
Holy Spirit, do you hear the cries?
Do you weep with us?
Do you try to hold our hearts, trickling lament while we pull away?
Holy Spirit, why do you keep reaching?
Why do I matter enough to You?
Can your forever-perspective be mine too?
Holy Spirit, I dwell in a land of sorrow.
I brush arms against harbourers of broken hearts.
I don’t know what to say.
Holy Spirit, do Your work.
For I will give You all the glory.
And I will boast of your faithfulness.
